Our location at Ferrycarrig is as strategically convenient today, as it was when the Anglo-Norman settlers built their town on top of the hill. Even if you don’t have a car, it’s still easy enough to get here, whether by train, bus or taxi.

The Irish National Heritage Park is a short taxi or bus journey from Wexford Station, which can be reached from stations along the East Coast and via connection from Belfast.

Wexford is a convenient bus or taxi ride away from the Irish National Heritage Park but please note, buses don’t run on Sundays.
If you are arriving in Ireland via the UK, France or Spain, through Rosslare Europort, be sure to include a visit to The Irish National Heritage Park, is a half hour’s drive from the port.

The park now has 16 reconstructed sites for you to see and learn about, from the Dolmen to Fulacht Fiadh and the Crannog to Viking Ship. The park is situated on 40 hectares for you to explore, from hillside to estuary and woodland to riverbank.
