Our location at Ferrycarrig is as strategically convenient today, as it was when the Anglo-Norman settlers built their town on top of the hill. Even if you don’t have a car, it’s still easy enough to get here, whether by train, bus or taxi.

Things To See And Do

The park has 16 reconstructed sites for you to see and learn about, from the Dolmen to Fulacht Fiadh and the Crannog to Viking Ship. The park is situated on 35 acres for you to explore, from hillside to estuary and woodland to riverbank.
